About Journey

Journey Massage and Spa Services was founded in 2002 by Joanne Maxwell. The creation of the business allowed her to pursue a lifelong interest in the preventative and restorative powers of touch within a therapeutic approach. From it earliest days, Journey has steadily grown into a company that offers a full selection of therapeutic massage and esthetician services.

Journey works with a wide variety of clients to meet their individual needs. Some seek treatment for relaxation and stress reduction while others look to maintain their body's peak performance or deal with injuries, illness and chronic conditions. For many clients, taking the time for regular treatments is key to maintaining a healthy lifestyle and keeping the body in its best shape.

From its earliest beginnings, Journey has recieved numerous industry recognitions including designation as Cancer Aware by Spafinders Wellness 365, and more recently, as Best of Groupon. Always a generous heart, Journey has contributed gift certificates to many charitable organizations including the Autism Up, Gilda's Club, Pluta Cancer Center, RPO, Advent House and numerous other causes.
